School Infrastructure

Shraddha Mandir School was established on 11 Feb 1991 with just 315 students on roll in the first session since then, it has been a story of constant efforts towards progress. We have always aimed at running the school as a place where the child is the central figure.

Geography Lab

Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student. Learning of geography involves lot of practical knowledge.The lab equipped with modern geographical apparatus, maps and models provide ample opportunity for the students to observe and learn concepts and facts easily.

Maths Lab

School has established a well equipped Mathematics Laboratory. It is a place where learning becomes fun. The laboratory approach of teaching Mathematics provides students the opportunity to understand and discover the beauty, importance and relevance of Mathematics as a discipline. The Maths Lab comprises of a variety of Mathematical teaching aids in the form of models, games, charts, books etc. useful for effective learning.
The focus of learning is on developing number sense, spatial sense, recognition of patterns and gradually to attend the problems with algorithm and abstration. Teachers emphasize on mathematical process which helps the child to inculcate concepts using concrete materials, problem solving with real-life situations, reasoning, reflecting and connecting, selecting appropiate computational tools, strategies and use of mathematical vocabulary.

Science Lab

The school has a well equipped modern composite Science Laboratory. It has all the equipment, apparatus, models, slides, chemicals, gauges, meters and other types of equipment’s are available which supplement and strengthen concept-learning in the classroom. Innovative methods of teaching scientific concepts are used in this lab.
The limitless opportunities to experiment with the reagents and chemicals in the chemistry facilitate the growth of scientific temper and kindle curiosity among the students. The environment of Bio Lab inculcates love for all living organism. The lab is a home to a wide variety of specimens, ranging from bacteria to a human skeleton.

ATAL Tinkering Lab

Atal Tinkering Lab is the flagship initiative of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Government of India to cultivate an innovative mindset amongst students. It’s objectives is: To create work spaces that are suitable for young minds to learn innovation skills, develop ideas via hands-on activities, work and learn in a flexible environment. To empower youth with the 21st-century skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design thinking, social and cross-cultural collaboration, ethical leadership etc. To help build innovative solutions for India’s unique problems, thereby supporting the nation’s efforts to grow as a knowledge economy.

Commerce Lab

In order to meet the challenging needs of Corporate Environment, it is not just sufficient for students to be theoretically sound, they must also be exposed to the external world in a dynamic way to face practical situations. Commerce Lab aims at stressing the importance of practical application of knowledge gained through theory. It helps students and staff members keep abreast of the latest developments in the business World

Library

The school has a spacious, ventilated, luminous, peaceful and well furnished modern library having more than 10,000 books with modern reading tables and chairs. Books of various categories are available in it. We have a space of 100 students approx., where they can sit together at a time. It has an efficient and dedicated Librarian, A maximum of 2 books are issued to the student at a time for 7 days. Dictionaries and reference books are used only in the library.

Co-Curricular Activities

(a) Sports: The school has all arrangements for the students to play Volley ball, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Discus throw, Shot-put, High jump, Long jump, Javelin throw etc. The students can participate in these games according to their choice. There is an arrangement for Yoga Education also.

(b) Cultural Activities: School organise various cultural based competitions like debate, declamation, quiz, rangoli making, painting and other competitions for all round development of the students. Students also participate in cultural activities based on various occasion like Janmashtami, Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day.
